Legal & privacy
Slalom Airlines is a fictional airline built by Slalom to demonstrate Adobe Experience Cloud patterns. This page covers what that means for you: cookies, terms, and privacy, in plain language.
Everything this site keeps in your browser
No third-party cookies, no advertising trackers. The prototype keeps a handful of values in your browser's own storage. Every value is first-party, readable in your devtools, and listed below.
| Key | Where | What it stores | Consent category |
|---|---|---|---|
slair-consent |
localStorage | Your cookie-consent choices from the banner and preferences panel | Essential |
slair-locale |
localStorage | Your chosen language and currency | Essential |
slair-user |
sessionStorage | The fictional demo sign-in session (Gold-tier mock identity) | Essential |
slair-booking |
sessionStorage | Your in-progress demo booking: search, fare, seats, extras | Essential |
slair-last-trip |
localStorage | Your last completed demo booking, so trips and check-in can find it | Essential |
slair-checkin |
sessionStorage | Your in-progress demo check-in: travelers, seats, bags | Essential |
slair-prefs |
localStorage | Your notification switches from account preferences | Essential |
The analytics and personalization consent categories don't add storage. They gate behavior. Analytics consent controls whether measurement events are forwarded to the (simulated) Adobe Edge Network; personalization consent controls whether recommendation surfaces render. The advertising category exists in the banner for completeness and currently gates nothing, because nothing here advertises. Change any of this anytime via Cookie preferences in the footer.
The short version is the whole version
This is a demonstration experience. Slalom Airlines is a fictional carrier created by Slalom to showcase Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Experience Cloud architecture. It operates no aircraft, sells no tickets, and impersonates no real airline.
Everything on this site is simulated: flights, fares, seat maps, loyalty balances, credit-card products, and every "purchase" or "application" you complete. No order is fulfilled, no payment is taken, no credit decision occurs, and no contract of carriage or any other kind is formed by using it.
Use the site freely for evaluation and demonstration. Don't enter real personal, payment, or medical information anywhere; every form tells you the same thing, and none of them transmit what you type.
All prices are illustrative, all schedules are generated, and anything resembling a real product, route, or brand is coincidence or homage, never an offer.
Nothing about you leaves this browser
This is a demonstration experience, and it's built to keep your data where it already is: on your machine. Forms never post. The storage keys above stay in your browser and can be cleared through your browser's site-data controls at any time.
By default, even the analytics layer is local: measurement events flow into an on-page edge simulator (open the Experience Cloud Inspector with Ctrl+Alt+D to watch them) rather than to any server. If a demonstrator explicitly configures a real Adobe datastream at build time, events are forwarded only after you grant analytics consent in the banner, and they carry the same fictional demo data you see in the inspector, never real identity.
We ask you not to type real personal information into the demo, and we don't want it: prefills are fictional, sample travelers are fictional, and the one name you'll see in the header is a stage name for a mock account.
Questions about the demo? Contact us. Fittingly, the form proves the point by sending nothing.
